THE PHILOSOPHICAL BREAKDOWN || Heath Ledger

"Your Biggest supporter is a Stranger and your Biggest hater is someone you know well"— Heath Ledger

So, this Statement is quite deep in its real sense. We'll try to break it down in order to understand it in a simple way and try to learn what Ledger literally meant by this statement.

Now dividing the quote into two points; one with respect to the supporter and the other considering the hater's point of view or the hater's perspective.

*STRANGER - The Mindset of a Supporter

A stranger is someone who won't judge you on the basis of your past, who won't consider your mistakes from your old days, and hence will offer you his support in an unbiased manner, completely based on your effective capabilities. A human being who is able to recognize your talent, visualize your dedication and analyze your efforts, someone who is able to comprehend the idea and your mentality, someone who shares the same thought process like you do, etc. fulfills the criteria of a supporter.

Sometimes, Fate provides you the opportunities and you need to grab them. The stranger you meet may belong to the category of opportunity you got from your destiny. There may involve some divine force that helps you when you are really in need of it. The divine force has not been fully known, it is basically an unknown entity and perhaps destiny decides, how it gonna work.

*KNOWN ONE - THE MINDSET OF A HATER

Coming to the known one, maybe someone belonging to the family, relatives, friend circle or any other closed one. You need to make yourself familiar with the truth that no one holds the responsibility for your action. Noone gonna stand beside you in your phase of misery. Even your known ones leave your hand when you really need them.

The word Hater doesn't mean the person literally hates you but it means the person isn't interested in supporting you. The person mayn't want to picturise you moving ahead of him. The person may be envious of your progress. The person doesn't want you to raise your bar of progress.

The known person may also felt insecure and because of the fear of your prosperity and hence believe in discouraging and criticizing you.
