ANIME TEACHES || GOKU - DRAGON BALL

 Being an anime fan and watching dragon ball since childhood helped me understand different aspects of life. It was difficult then to acknowledge the real meaning and the philosophy hidden in the whole series of dragon ball but with time I realised, it was far beyond my expectations. Each episode teaches something different and something new that is quite important to learn and perhaps its application help in prospering in life as well. Well, anime culture is known for these deep hidden life lessons. No doubt, Goku, being a humble and attractive protagonist of whole dragon ball series has a lot to take inspiration from. Without further delay, let’s try to take the lessons from the character;

COMPASSION;

The journey of dragon ball started in search of seven dragon balls to fulfil a wish but Goku never thought of wishing something for himself or anything materialistic, instead he always wished for others. He wished for bringing his friends' life back, saved world by making the use of the wish, etc. This shows his kind hearted nature. Neither all have the quality of such benevolence nor everyone possess such a compassionate nature.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ABOVE EVERYTHING;

Goku represents a character who values humans and emotions more than anything. He always pushed himself beyond his limits in order to save his family and friends. He never used to care for his own life and took all possible steps to save his family and friends. From Krillin to Piccolo to his own son Gohan, Goku did his best to save everyone irrespective of caring for his own life.

FORGIVENESS IS THE ULTIMATE STRENGTH;

Goku was well aware of the power of forgiveness. Goku spared Piccolo, Vegeta, Frieza, Buu etc. It was his kindness that paves the way of companionship and later on made Piccolo,Vegeta and Margin Buu his companions. Piccolo became one of his closest confidant. Goku had shown mercy in all possible ways and let his enemies survive and had given them the fair chance for improvements. Without being ambiguous about sparing, he spared the life of everyone.

Do you possess the quality to forgive someone who once tried to kill you?

OPEN TO GROWTH;

Goku, being the most attracting and pure hearted character of dragon ball series shows a growing mindset and hence was always open to growth. His enthusiasm and dedication towards his training simply shows his dedication towards his goals. He was open to learning and was always ready for new challenges in order to improve his capabilities. He fought world martial arts championship with the main motive of improving his skills. Winning the tournament was never his priority. Even after losing tournaments, he never regretted for a second. This clearly shows the tenacity of Goku towards growth.

IMPORTANCE OF MENTORS;

Well, the purpose of a mentor is to lead you towards your goals and help you to become the best version of yourself, perhaps Goku knows the same and hence comprehended the same as well. He has a reverance for his mentors. Goku had taken apprentices from his mentors and never disrespected his mentors. Even after growing super strong and transforming into Super Saiyan and ultra instinct, his reverance or the respect for his mentors from Grandmaster Roshi to Korin to Kami and King Kai remained the same. Goku had a deep respect for all his mentors. Goku outgrown his powers beyond the levels of these masters and yet he chose to act like their pupil and respect their apprentices, this justifies the humility of our hero Goku.

GAMEPLAY OF WORDS || KASHISH GUPTA

Our ability to communicate signifies one of our most powerful capacities. We, humans, are social animals and hence need to interact with others and for interaction, language plays a very important role. Language represents a principal method of human communication. Language is framed by numerous words, used in order to deliver some speech, gestures, writings, plans, etc.
Hence words form the most important communication tool to express any emotion, building relationships, seeking help, etc. Words can bring out peace and devastation as well. Words can make you friends and can give birth to your foes as well. Let's figure out the influence of these words and try to decode how these words actually act.
In the words of Sigmund Freud; Words have magical power. They can either bring the greatest happiness or the deepest despair.

Influence of Words: Positive as well as Negative
So, your words are sufficient to make a positive as well as negative impact on anyone's life.
Your words spoken empathetically holds the ability to heal the wounds, fix the broken hearts, build a new relationship, and a lot more stuff. On the other hand, your words delivered ruthlessly and with hatred holds the potential of destroying strong relationships, creates conflicts, brings clashes, and various other problems. It's completely in your hands how you gonna use your words i.e in order to make a positive impact or to bring out the negativity by means of the same words. That's why it is advised to choose your words wisely.

Source of Motivation;
Ever heard of motivational speakers? Well, these days motivational speakers are so common. Social media is full of motivational speakers. Have you ever tried to decode the way they represent themselves and the way they attract such a crowd of people? How they are able to influence the masses and make hundreds of people their dedicated fans? Well, the secret behind it is the use of appropriate words. They know the power of words. They know how to make use of perfect words at the perfect time. They had mastered this art of conversation and hence are able to make their impact and attract the masses. Communication - An Important Skill
Communication has been considered as one of the most influential and the most desired skills of all time. In all the fields, it's a basic necessity that you should be able to express, you should be able to explain your perspectives, your offerings, etc. In short, if you are unable to express yourselves and lack communication skills, then it gonna affect your social image directly. Now, what's the actual barrier that impedes you from learning the same? What's the lacking segment that is actually resisting you to master this skill?
Well, that's the use of improper words, your insufficiency with words. Communication is more associated with instant response than intellectual response. If you mastered the skill of instant response, significant and proper usage of words, then who's gonna question your communication skills? Perhaps, no one. It is because of the significance of communication, that forms one of the basic skills required in any corporate or marketing job. Even a doctor needs to be good at communication to deal effectively with patients. His compassionate behavior with a sense of empathy is quite efficient in treating patients along with medicines. And the whole stuff is associated with words.

Words - A common source for appreciation, persuasion, and manipulation
Words form the basic segment for any of the mentioned activities. You can appreciate, persuade or manipulate someone simply by making use of words.

Appreciation:
It's wisely said, ''Try to be a person, who appreciates others and not condemn or criticizes others''.
Your words and the way you deliver your words decide your intentions. If your intentions are real, then the way you deliver your speech is quite different than your delivery at the time of criticism.
Appreciation definitely brings you companions while criticism perhaps blesses you with enmity. It's better to appreciate others using definite words.

Persuasion:
Persuasion simply refers to the act of convincing someone to do something. Using your words, you can easily persuade anyone to do anything. You can easily change the views and beliefs of others by making use of strong persuasive words.
For instance; words like Free, Limited, Offers, Guaranteed, etc are quite persuasive and hence are widely used in sales and marketing. Perhaps they decoded the magic of persuasion and are utilizing the same for their profits.

Manipulation:
Manipulating someone by the use of words isn't something new or recently introduced stuff in our society. Using manipulative measures to play with people's emotions is known for decades. From monarchs to politicians, big leaders, etc manipulation by words serves as the main tool to win the majority.
They've mastered the skill of adroitly manipulating the masses by their statements and hence in a quite subtle way are able to fool a number of people to carry out their mean purposes.

PAIN AND LIFE || THE PHILOSOPHY OF PAIN

Without pain, without sacrifice, you can't enjoy the taste of life. Pain is meant to be faced, and the way you face your pain determines what you really are and how effectively you deserve the fruit of life.
Though seems unpleasant, but, in a real sense pain has a great influence over prosperity and satisfaction. It's the fear of pain that hinders growth.

Change and pain
Well, it's like change and pain go side by side. It's difficult to adapt to the change and this adaptation brings a sense of resentment and ends up stimulating a wave of pain inside. Perhaps, the change acts as a stepping stone for prosperity in life but the pain brought by it impedes our action to adapt the same.
Any change in life has a direct association with pain and you just can't simply avoid the same.

Pain and the purpose of life
Pain remains painful until you extract the purpose of your life from it. Finding purpose in pain is the symbol of ultimate strength. Pain is progressive but quite often you fear pain because you don't see any purpose besides it. Figuring out the purpose of pain ultimately transforms your sense of resentment and misery into fulfillment and satisfaction. In short, pain is bearable and endurable when you get the purpose. For instance, a woman can endure her labor pain because of the purpose of holding her own child.
In the words of Viktor Emil Frankl, “Life is never made unbearable by circumstance, but only by lack of meaning and purpose”.

Escaping the pain
Pain needs courage to be faced and our programming doesn't allow us to face it courageously. We use to run away and keep on resisting everything that brings pain. We often keep on searching for a way to escape the pain instead of facing it and there we entrap ourselves into misery. Escapism is not a method to relieve pain. Escapism is just a temporary numbness. This temporary escape only hinders your growth.
Well, don't you think, we worship God just as an escape from pain?

Truly speaking, we just can't avoid pain. We all desire pleasure and contentment but it's impossible to witness the same without experiencing the pain. Perhaps, that's why Nietschze made an astounding point:

"Did you ever say yes to a pleasure?
Oh my friends, then you also said yes to all pain.
 All things are linked, entwined, in love with one another."
"What does not kill me, makes me stronger."
                                             ~Friedrich Nietzsche

Pain and Death
Death is the ultimate truth and the result of everything. You try to avoid pain because of your fear of death. It's the fear of death that leads you towards escapism. You keep on avoiding the situations and changes because of your anticipation. If death is a reality, then what's the point of fearing its confrontation, and hence, why do we keep on resisting pain and withheld the act of experiencing pain?
