Distractions acting in our teenage!

 Teenage basically represents the time period from 13 to 19 yrs. Everyone is aware of this time period, how distracting it is and we are well aware of this fact also, how immature our mind is at this particular phase of life. As a result, we usually get distracted and our focus and goals gets drifted.

Well, it's quite natural and everyone goes through this phase of life but the important thing is the way we adapt to this phase. If we pass this phase without being distracted from our goals, then we may achieve our goals but if we got distracted and our focus shifts then the life may suffer, so, we should spent our teenage properly in a right way, spending time with right people, avoiding nuisance etc.

Let's jump into the basic distractions that a student usually faces during the teenage.

Attraction towards opposite sex;

As it's a phase during which there is hormonal imbalance in our body, our body organs are in the phase of development and are under the influence of hormonal changes and hence our body as a result is in the phase of adapting these running changes, as a result, there is natural imbalance of sex hormones like androgens, estrogen, progesterone etc. Because of this imbalance, we usually gets attracted towards the people of our opposite sex. This is quite natural but we have to control this urge i.e we need to overcome this distraction in order to focus more on our studies and our goals. Now, in order to avoid such distraction, we need to put more efforts on our studies, skills, sports etc. We need to spend our time doing meditation and yoga for peace of our mind. I know it may sounds something spiritual and sanyasi type but trust me this avoids the distraction upto a large extent and it also increases the focus, strength and make you more progressive towards your future. You can also spend more time with your family, friends and loved ones in order to overcome this distraction.

Social Media and Internet;

Internet being the basic necessity these days is acting as a villain in the life of a student. At one side, internet is an important source of knowledge and learning but on the other hand it is the basic cause of destruction and distraction as well. The main distraction in the life of a teenager is the internet and social media apps. Students spent most of their time surfing rubbish over the internet and waste their precious time that is needed to be spent on some productive work or on studies. Social media is just leading a child towards a delusional world that appears quite fascinating and wonderful without making the child realising how disgusting it's net results are. So, in order to tackle this problem and to focus more on studies, I think the student must make a distance from social media and avoid the use of internet as well. Instead go through the books in order to solve problems.

I agree, if there is availability of technology we should use it. On internet we can found everything in just one click so what's the need of surfing and wasting time over books? Now, just ask yourself some questions,

Whenever you start surfing internet for just one question, how much time you literally spent over internet?

Do you search only that question and leave internet then?

 Don't you get distracted towards social media apps like fb, instagram etc everytime you start surfing the internet ?

Now depending upon your answers you can conclude whether you are addicted to internet or not. If not, then you can use it but for learning purpose only. The main thing that must be focussed here is the excessive use of social media.

Curiosity and Peer pressure ;

In the teenage life, our young blood boils and we are very much curious to know about different things. We want to try new and new stuffs that may make us cool in the eyes of others, which is basically just a product of our immature mind. As a result of this curiosity a number of teenagers gets introduced to some destructive elements like alcohol, cigarettes, weed, cocaine etc and as a result starts destroying their career, future, infact their whole life. And along with this, there is the friend circle that acts as kerosene in the fire. Friends makes you curious and then make you try these stuff by just a little saying, "ek se kya hi hoga" means "what one will do" and when this one gets converted to many, you don't even realise. So you have to stay away from these harmful products and choose friend circle wisely.

Introduction to the adults elements;

In our teenage life period, there are maximum chances of our exposure to some adult elements like p*rnography, s*x, masturbation etc. Everyone is introduced to these terms usually during the teenage days and because of lack of self awareness and incomplete knowledge about these things, a teenage get so much interested into this and it ultimately  affects the mental, physical, psychological as well as biological life of teenager.

Everyone is very much known of the taboo of s*x education in India and many other countries as well. This never lets the child to openly talk about the terms like s*x, p*rn etc and hence because of curiosity and eagerness to know more, child start spending most of his time on internet watching and searching such explicit content. This is also one of the most common distraction faced by most of teenagers. A very important role here is played by the group of so called immature friends who themselves know nothing but will act like they are the scholars of s*x education. And we, like their followers found them quite intellectual personality, who knows everything and start doing the same shit.

Now to avoid this distraction try to study books regarding s*x education instead of watching x rated content online. You need to understand s*x is just a biological process to sustain life and nothing more than that and knowledge of it is also needed but making yourself habitual to p*rn or some other obscene is not beneficial in any way.

Conclusion and my opinion;

As teenage is the time, when we are exposed to a new kind of world, we are just unaware of. This world is responsible for our development and our progress as well. But on the other side we also gets introduced to numerous harmful things as well. So in order to prosper we need to choose the stuff wisely. We need to understand what's right for us and what's not. I think the best way to know and understand this whole picture is the books.

Books are something you can completely trust upon. We can find everything in books and trust me nothing else can be a better source to avoid distractions.

We can also take the help of our parents as well as our teachers for such basic education. Try to interact with your parents as much as you can because most of the distractions usually gets demolished whenever we talk and express them in front of our parents.

I had shared this all on the basis of my own personal experiences and lessons I had learnt.

Hope you all will have a lovely and bright future ahead!

Love and peace!

Life learnings and Self Improvement!

 Growing in an Indian society always teaches you a lot. One experiences different things, learn a number of things from the people, one is surrounded by. The basic education of learning initiates from home. When a child is born, the pampering and the love, the child gets from his parents is just unconditional and pure. This is a good thing that we grew up in such a loving atmosphere where we are treated like a lord. No matter whether we deserve it or not but parents never let us down at any cost. We always get what we want, all our wishes are always fulfilled by our parents and maybe that's the reason, we push ourselves towards expectations only. As a result, we also expect life to remain this kind and loving always and when the unexpected things happen, we find ourselves nowhere. We feel broken, incomplete, depressed and try to finish ourself and maybe thats the biggest flaw here. Lets try to understand it a little more.

Basic reason behind this ;

The main reason behind this is that we are so specially treated by our parents that we hadn't faced anything, we hadn't faced the reality, the reality which is quite different from our expectations. We hadn't seen failure and as a result, when we are hitted by failure on our own, our whole dream of the previous pampered life, broken up!

Everytime a child falls, his mother runs in order to raise the child and starts pampering the child which is good but somehow when we flip the other side of the coin, we found this makes the child dependent on his mom i.e next time when the child will fall, he'll expects the same i.e the mother will come and raise him up. This leads the child towards a dependency. We usually are not able to highlight this dependency in young age or as a child because it's not that big issue but we also can't deny the fact that small steps brings the greater results.

We usually see in a middle class family, when a child ask his parents to bring him some pet etc, the parents usually sayS 'NO' and that too in a quite sarcastic way. The sarcasm here is like, "tu abhi khud apni responsibilty utha nahi sakta toh kuttey (here referring the pet) ki khaak uthayega". This is a very popular sarcasm in a typical Indian middle class families and I hope you'll find it somehow relatable as well.Even I had experiencedthe same. Parents are not wrong at all in saying this and making us realise our responsibilities. Now let's again flip the coin and discuss it with a new perspective. Parents can also say that you should get a pet so that you would be have to learn to hold responsibilities but they usually don't do this. Again it's not a big mistake but somehow this is also responsible for making us dependent on the others, well, parents in this case.

Our Expectations always ruin us!

Expecting someone to do the thing that is right, according to our very own perspective and then got disappointed because the person didn't met our expectations. Isn't it quite weird that we want someone to do something that is liked by us and if the person is unable to do the same, we kind of feel dejected.

We are so much obsessed with ourself that we don't want to accept the fact that we have flaws as well. We may have limitations and we can commit mistakes as well. We are humans and not the God. So, Who the hell, we are to expect that the other person would do the thing that will always fulfil our expectations?
And if the person fulfil our expectations then we feel satisfied, great, joyful and if not then
Our faces fade off like hell. So isn't it okay not to expect something and just cherish the result always.
Our brain is always treated in a way that we are superior, we are best and so on but we never realised that there are others as well.
In short, we cant expect anything from others because expectation usually bring sadness and unwanted results. We must understand life isn't fair always. Sometimes we get what we want and sometimes we use to face failure as well but this doesn't mean you start losing hope in life. The main thing to be highlighted here is just do your work sincerely with full dedication and then just enjoy the results.

Opinions of others;
We usually work in order to attain the appraisal of others. We are so much bounded in a very small circle of opinions and praises of others that we totally forget our own desires. A number of times, we work in order to satisfy others instead of working for our own happiness and our own mind's peace. During childhood, we study to achieve good marks, good rank in order to make parents happy, during our twenties, we work to attain a special and a good status to survive in a society of people with the same mentality. In other words, major portion of our life is just spent by us for others so when are we gonna enjoy the life  for our ownself! The day, we all will start working for ourselves without caring about the opinion and perspective of others, we will start living in real sense.

How important Self Esteem is!
Self Esteem, quite an interesting term, but very complicated in nature. Self Esteem is nothing but our very own evaluation of ourselves i.e a opinion for ourselves, how capable and deserving we are!
It's complicated, not because it's difficult to maintain but because we usually aren't trained in a way to live with a raised and a high self esteem.
Majority of time self esteem is associated with the new things we try to do, in other words the new skills we try to establish that brings a feeling of satisfaction and self development. The skill that somehow gives us the feeling of pride and pleasure. But because of restrictions or some barriers of society, family or various other factors, we are just unable to develop this property of self esteem and hence felt left off. We realise about the power of self esteem quite lately in life and then the only thing left with us is cursing the past and regrets for it, which doesn't make any sense. So it's important to consider self esteem and focus to raise it up.

Passion - what's  the need?
Passion, a word seems very interesting and very oftenly used by everyone these days. Passion is something that really keeps us alive when we are hardly hitted upon. Passion is something that can help us growing both physically as well as psychologically. Following the passion ultimately brings result and more importantly the pleasure and happiness that everyone wants in life. Passion is responsible for the growth of individual in a real sense and you just can't deny this truth but wait let me introduce you to the basic Indian mentality regarding passion and passion following.
Aren't we living in a society where after 10th, the main focus of the parents is to let their child having engineering or medical mainly, like no other fields exist for them. This is the reason the number of doctors and engineers produced by India per year is more than the entire population of some countries. Why we are not allowed to opt something for our passion. If one wants to be a photographer or dancer, what's the fun of doing engineering then, right?
So, we need to understand here that sometimes we need to take actions that may go against the society and may against parents as well so you must convince your parents and start following your passion because passion ultimately brings results and merely the work done with passion brings a ray of satisfaction in life.

Are friends important?
No doubt friends plays a very important role in life but selecting a friend circle is equally important. "A man is known by the company he keeps" goes quite famous saying. So it's important for us to select our friend circle in such a way that profits us and help us growing constructively, otherwise destruction isn't far enough. Good friends help you keep growing, keeps you motivated, helps you achieving your goals etc but if friend circle is ruined then most chances are there that you'll ruin your life as well.
Choose friend that help you growing constructively and not destructively.

Conclusion ;
Everyone has different perspectives of life. Some prefer enjoying it and some prefer wasting it. It is completely dependent on the mentality and the thinking level of an individual that how he wants to live. I'm noone to tell you how to live but here I have mentioned some of my very own experiences and the way I perceive life. I discussed something that somehow affected my growth and had resisted prosperity in my life as well.
Hope you all will have a great and prosperous life ahead.
Enjoy your life and work to attain your goals.

Good Luck!

Criticism - A part of life!

We'd be quite familiar with the word criticism. This word has somehow created a special significance in the life of everyone.
One way or the other, criticism somehow affects all human beings. Everyone, in their life once or more had faced it. Some may resist it and some may be taken it quite seriously like it's gonna ruin their life. Let's discuss something about the criticism we usually face and some effects associated with it.

What is criticism?

In general terms, criticism refers to the expression of disapproval of someone or something on the basis of perceived faults or mistakes.
 No one wants the other person to lead in any way so the person has only one way to prove himself i.e by criticizing the others. People usually criticize by finding faults in all things whether the faults are big or just a little flaw, which may be a natural human tendency. We all are humans and we commit mistakes. We are not perfect. We are full of flaws and there is the probability of doing wrong as well if a person tries anything, which ultimately brings criticism to the person.
There is no denying the fact that in our Indian society, criticism has been a part of our life like it's a daily bread and butter meal. One gets criticized by a number of people in society, no matter he has done something wrong or not.

Criticism affecting minds;

Every coin has two sides. Similarly, every point of view has different perspectives. One thinks in another way and another person think in a different way so we usually cannot satisfy everyone by our opinion and our choices.
If a person wants to opt Arts in his 11th standard, he/she is free to join. Who are we to judge the person and criticize the person on this behalf?
but we cannot live in peace without making any compliment over it like how can he opt for arts when science is there, Wasn't he capable enough to take science, etc, etc. These remarks don't make any sense but still, we found it useful somehow without caring about the person for which these remarks are passing on.
One may take these criticizing remarks as fun and even enjoy them but all are not the same. Some may consider these remarks too strong to bear. Our stupid remarks can somehow even affect the mental level of someone as well. But unfortunately, no one is free enough to think about this or maybe people don't find this topic anyhow important for the developing students, children and even adults as well.
Some people are so capable and so strongly developed that they use the criticism as building bricks for multi-storeyed buildings and some are not that capable and are weak in order to bear this criticism and tends to lose their morale, self-respect and stop doing their work for which they were criticized, though the work would bring billions of dollars and huge fame in the future and here lies the main problem with the criticism.

Talking about criticism can be constructive as well as destructive.
Constructive criticism brings results and Destructive one brings destruction, as the name signifies.
Constructive criticism helps you to grow and prosper but destructively taking criticism always brings harm and loss in life.
So in this way, we can take the criticism as constructively as well as destructively. It completely depends on us how we want to react to criticism.
If a teacher, in a serious way telling I cant top in exams and I somehow proves the teacher wrong by topping the exams, this shows the constructive criticism i.e I constructively took the criticism and build something out of it but if on the other hand I took my teacher seriously and started blaming myself for not topping in the exam and take my mental peace to the level of negativity that I really cannot top in exams would bring destruction only, making me a victim of destructive criticism.
Hence its completely depends on the mind and the intellectual treatment of the person to handle criticism i.e in a positive/constructive or negative/destructive way.

Is there any need to take criticism seriously?

The majority of people including me at any part of their life would have realized that taking criticism seriously was nothing but a piece of crap that has nothing but just a temporary effect in life. In a real sense, taking it seriously or reacting to it, going out of the way of progress was just foolishness we mostly do, resisting criticism, which is just a stupid thing that one comes to realize after it's done. So, taking criticism so seriously and then completely shifting the target is practically an illiterate thing, basically of no use. But up to some extent, you can activate and use it in a constructive way as I explained earlier.
A number of books explained with real-life examples of how constructive criticism changed the life of a number of successful people. So we can say that criticism isn't that bad but the way we use to react to it is. Here again, comes the two sides of a coin.

Conclusion and My opinion :

At last, from whatever I have learned in my life and after reading different - different books, I came to a conclusion that sometimes Criticism is good and sometimes it may be bad but the most important thing, we have to realize here is that we need to know how to handle it in a right way. We should be able to differentiate the concept of positive and negative i.e we must know by which way this gonna affect my life i.e whether it will prosper my life or change my life to disguise.

BDS 1st year - a quick guide for books

 First of all, a big congratulations to the one, who is admitted in this professional course. BDS or bachelor of dental surgery is the branch of science that deals with dental health and hygiene. This goes the general definition for bds but noone tells you how a bds student have to study almost the complete human body functioning i.e physiology, biochemistry, human anatomy as well in the first year. Even I was unaware about the subjects but after going to college, I realized that we also had to study almost all subjects that an MBBS student study i.e Physiology, Anatomy and Biochemistry. But here an BDS student has an advantage and the advantage is the human anatomy i.e we don't have to study the whole human anatomy instead we are limited to the head and neck region and the neuroanatomy section only. Along with head and neck portion and neuro, we also need to know about the different visceral organs and their blood vessels, Human Embryology, Osteology as well. but these subjects are placed under Human Anatomy only.

Along with these three subjects, a dental student also studies Dental Anatomy and Dental Histology - The basic step towards the whole journey of dentistry.

During the initial days, one don't understand everything and find it difficult to grasp everything that is taught in the college. Everything seems new and we are like having no idea what the hell we are really studying but with time, we get adapted to it.

 Human Anatomy, being the most volatile subject completely frustrate the students. Majority of students find it the most difficult subject of 1st year. I personally found it difficult but with time and with more and more focus and study, i start loving reading it. Instead I sometimes found Human Physiology more difficult. Nope, just kidding here, both these subjects are quite volatile and requires a lot of study in order to make a good hold over them.

BOOKS

Whenever it comes to books, everyone is so much worried like they are giving NEET exam once more.No doubt, book selection is very important but there is nothing to worry about it. I personally never worried about it because I always believed books always teaches something. The only difference is the content i.e some books elaborate the things a lot and some kind of keep the content simple and short.

Now, as we had to entered into a professional course now so we have to act like the same. Here the books generally recommended are the standard books, used same worldwide.

I also preferred standard books but i also read from the books of some other Indian authors a s well. Books i had read includes;

1) Human Anatomy - BDC/ BD Chourasia

BDC is like a master book of Human Anatomy for Indian students. It's all because of the language and the way, the writer had explained the whole human anatomy. This book is best suited for all the BDS 1st year students. This book has the plus point of its simple and easily understandable language with colourful and efficiently explained flow charts.

2) Human Physiology - Guyton and Hall textbook of medical physiology.

Whenever it comes to Human physiology, the only book that comes to the mind of any medical student is Guyton and Hall. This book is considered as the bible of medical physiology.This is the standard book preferred by almost everyone for human physiology. I had studied my human physiology from this book but I had seen some reading other books as well like Essential of medical physiology by K. Sembulingam, which is also a good book. One can go with this book as well if you want something easy and quickly revisable but even though i highly recommend the first year students to surely go for Guyton and Hall, in order to build strong concepts about human physiology.

3) Biochemistry - U. Satyanarayana

U. Satyanarayana is the book, I used myself for biochemistry but I had seen students using Vasudevan as well. I personally hadn't read from Vasudevan so I cant say anything about that book here but for Satyanarayana, I'm sure that it's a good book.

4) Dental Anantomy and Dental Histology - Wheeler's and Orban's respectively

Wheelers and Orbans are the standard books for DA and DH. Both of these books are excellent to make a good hold and a perfect grip over these subjects. All concepts can be greatly built referring these books. I had studied these books in order to build my concepts but I somehow found it a little difficult in order to revise quickly from these books so I kind of preferred Maji Jose as well. In Maji Jose, everything is written in a very easy way so that it becomes very good for quick revisions. So I studied my DA and DH from these three books. I had used Maji Jose mainly for my revision purposes only.

Conclusions : I am recommending all the books from my point of experience. Different people have different tastes and choices but you can check these books and start focussing on your studies.

Good Luck!

Depression - A Curse to Society!

 Depression is a quite famous term these days. The majority of us might hear this term and also know about this thing i.e depression. Our modern society has grown up so much that depression these days have just become a part of our lifestyle. Depression these days has become so normal that more than 264 million people worldwide are suffering from depression.

What Is Depression?

Depression is basically a mood disorder. In depression, one usually feels sad and loses interest in activities, doesn't like talking to others, stops doing work that makes him happy, etc. In simple words, a person loses his interest in life. Depression represents the negative feelings that affect life in a wrong way, without realizing the fact that it's just a temporary phase that would not last so long.

I came to know about depression when one of my friends faced this situation. Three years ago, I came to know about one of my friends who was undergoing through a phase of life, where he was having no idea what the hell he was doing in his life. He was completely distanced from his social life, he completely isolated himself from his family, friends, etc. After noticing this change, I started researching depression and while studying about depression on the internet, I come to know how big and how critical the situation with respect to depression these days is.
Mental peace is a myth these days. We need to take essential steps in order to tackle this problem and remove this problem from our society.

How we treat depressed ones!

The topic of mental illness was always a taboo in our society. We always treated the persons with any psychological and mental problems in such a way that the person is already mentally ill or somehow psychic and because of this reason and because of the judgment of few illiterates, the majority of people don't address their mental problems, as a result of which they keep on suffering more and more. These sufferings can somehow grow up to the extent that the person thinks that suicide is the only option left in front of them.
According to some reports, suicide is the 2nd most leading cause of death in young people and most of these suicides are related to mental illness, mainly depression. So, how can we ignore this dangerous disease?

Signs of Depression :

Whenever a person is depressed, he may show some signs that can really help to assure whether he is really depressed or not. These signs may or may not work completely but in the majority of cases these works.
Signs include sadness, changed behavior, loss of interest in activities, anxious behavior, disturbed sleep pattern, irritating behavior, etc.
Personally, I had seen some people who were in fact suffering from depression but never shown any signs.

Money and Mental peace - A Myth!

We usually think the main cause of mental illness is a lack of money. This is completely a myth. Mental peace is not something that is always associated with any materialistic thing like money, luxuries, etc. In a real sense, mental peace is usually associated with happiness. A person who is unhappy and stressed may become a victim of depression.
A billionaire or a multi-millionaire can also suffer from depression or some other mental illness. Similarly, a person having no satisfaction in life can also suffer from this evil disease.

How can we respond to it?

The reasons may be many but not so vast that depression can't be treated. Every problem comes with a solution and the same is the case with depression.
Only a little effort and a little help from our side can somehow save a person's life. The only thing we need to understand is the way we treat people with any sort of mental illness whether it be depression or some other type of bipolar disorder. The only thing, the sufferer needed is the proper care, company, love, and support from the loving ones. Love and support are the two components that can completely cure the person and can safely bring the person out of depression or any other mental problem.

Depression these days - In young people and adolescents

Depression is very common in adolescents and young people these days. A majority of them experiences depression because of stupid relationships and breakups, the problem of low self-esteem, stress related to education and there may be some family problems as well.

How to deal with depression ;

It's very easy to give advice to others but one who is suffering knows how difficult is to cope with depression. But the only thing one can do is try to improve the quality of life. The person with depression can try to talk to their loved ones, try to explain the circumstances that are leading them towards depression, and can try to focus on the positivity around them.
One can meditate, read books, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and try something that brings peace to mind.
Talking about problems with loved ones can completely vanish the whole portion of depression from one's life.

My Opinion ;

 According to me, depression is a very serious condition needed to be highlighted so that everyone comes to know about it. People still are not taking mental health seriously. We need to make people aware of the topics of mental peace and mental illness. Depression needed to be addressed so that when someone suffers from it, he/she won't hesitate to express it freely. Like all other diseases, depression needs treatment as well. There is nothing to hide in mental illness and that's the point needed to be highlighted here. We can control it in the initial stages very easily else medical treatment is required in critical conditions.

India - Best country ever!

After meeting with a number of people, I had realized that a huge quantity of our Indians is more influenced by western culture. There is nothing wrong with following western culture but criticizing Indian culture without even knowing is quite ridiculous. One can be in the obsession with anything he/she likes. One can love anything but these days most of us are greatly influenced by the west and as a result, our culture, our heritage, our precious history are somehow losing its significance. We follow the western people so much that we completely ignore our very own wonderful past. We usually say "This is India, for achieving something you need to go outside, settle to western countries and only then you would be able to succeed", which is nothing but only a false notion, stuck in our mind with respect to India. So I'm writing this to describe to you a little about the real India, the country you should be proud of, the country that has the potential to produce the best in the whole world.

Here I'm gonna explain a few reasons why I love my India and why you should proud to be an Indian as well :

Reason 1:  INDIAN CULTURE:

India is very well known for its rich and vast culture. Our culture includes Religions, festivals, languages, architecture, food, art, clothing, etc. It is this culture of India that represents the concept of unity among people of different castes, communities, regions, and religions. That's why it's wisely said, "Unity in diversity is the ultimate result of our Indian Culture".
Even after having a number of religions like Hinduism, Muslims, Christianity, Jainism, Sikhism, etc, we all live with joy and peace. That's the beauty of India.

Coming to Indian festivals, the way we all enjoy celebrating Diwali, Eid, Gurupurav, and Christmas with great enthusiasm and rejoice, this can only be seen in Indian culture. Religion is not a barrier to the unity of our nation and that's the beauty of our India.

Reason 2: INDIAN REVOLUTIONARIES:

We all are well known for the facts and the struggles associated with the Independence of India. We can't deny the fact that how a thousands of people laid down their lives for our independence. All these freedom fighters did this without caring for themselves. So, how can you say India has no history.
Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Sukhdev, etc are some of the names of the revolutionaries who sacrificed themselves for their country. This made me proud that I was born in a country where these great revolutionaries took birth.

Reason 3: YOGA AND AYURVEDA:

Yoga and Ayurveda are the two different forms of sciences that are introduced to the whole world by the Indians. A number of people from different countries are fascinated and are attracted by yoga and Ayurveda and the origin of yoga and Ayurveda took place from the Vedas (The Vedic knowledge). Yoga originates from 'Yazurveda' and Ayurveda originates from 'Atharva Veda' and 'Riga Veda'.
It is Ayurveda that teaches the world about the balance between the body, mind, spirit, and the environment. The concept of spirituality and meditation had roots that were originated in India and then spread globally. But somehow the foreigners associated with yoga and ayurvedic sciences are much more aware of this than many of our Indians and this thing always makes me sad and worried about our culture and prestigious heritage that how we are ruining it and destroying it instead of preserving it for our future generation.

Reason 4: SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY:

When it comes to science and technology, how can we forget the big names of our Indian scientists and Indian inventors like C.V. Raman, A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Homi Jahangir Bhabha, Vikram Sarabhai, J.C Bose, Srinivasa Ramanujana, and many more?
India gave zero to mathematics and this is one of the greatest achievements ever made in history. This was done by a great mathematician of India namely 'Aryabhatta'.
Whenever it comes to science and technology, how can we forget to mention DRDO and our ISRO?

DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation): DRDO is the most diversified research organization of India. It includes researches under various fields like Aeronautics, life sciences, armaments, electronics, missiles, etc DRDO had given its remarkable performances in the development of highly advanced missiles like Agni missile, Prithvi ballistic missile, Trishul missile, etc. DRDO has created other critical technologies such as aircraft avionics, UAVs, artillery systems, EW Systems, tanks, and armored vehicles, sonar systems, command and control systems, and missile systems as well.

ISRO ( Indian Space Research Organisation): ISRO represents the space agency of India. ISRO had done a number of achievements that has shocked the whole world ISRO sent a lunar orbiter, Chandrayaan-1in 2008, which discovered lunar water in the form of ice.
ISRO made India the first nation to succeed in its maiden attempt to Mars.
In 2017, ISRO launched 104 satellites in a single rocket naming PSLV-C37 and created a world record.
In 2019, ISRO also launched  Chandrayaan-2 to study the lunar geology and the distribution of lunar water.

Reason 5: INDIA IN GAMES AND SPORTS:

In the field of games and sports, India has always occupied one of the greatest positions. A number of games had their origin in ancient India. some of the games include Snakes and Ladders, kho kho, polo, chess, kabaddi, carrom, etc

Whenever it comes to sports, the only sport that hits the mind of all the Indians is Cricket and when it comes to cricket, we can't ignore the records and the champions produced by our country. From Kapil Dev and Sachin Tendulkar to MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli, a huge list of cricketers can be prepared to describe the sports achievement of India.

While talking about games and sports, let's throw some light on the national sport of India i.e Hockey. Talking about hockey, the hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand was the greatest player in the history of hockey and was an Indian.
India has numerous achievements in other games as well like in chess we have grandmaster Viswanathan Anand, In football, we have great players like Sunil Chhetri, etc

Reason 6: INDIANS AND THEIR TEACHINGS:

India has taught a lot to the whole world but let's throw light on a few of the teachings that India had taught;

*ATITHI DEVO BHAVA: The way, we Indians treat our guests cant be seen anywhere else in the whole world. We Indians are the only ones, who treat our guests as Gods and treat them with whole respect. This is the part of Indian Hindhu-Buddhist philosophy.

*NAMASTAY:  The Namastay, or namaskar, or 'namaste' is one of the five forms of traditional greetings mentioned in the ancient Hindu scriptures, the Vedas. It translates to 'I bow to you'. The concept of Namaste was made popular by the Indians.

*RESPECTING THE ELDERS: Respecting the elders is the key factor of Indian society. A child got its first education in the form of teaching, how to respect your elders. Words like 'Ji', 'aap',aapne, etc show the polite behavior of Indians.

*PRANA JAYE PAR VACHAN NAA JAYE:
Talking about respect and the value of our thoughts and our promises, we ever made, comes this saying. It can be clearly demonstrated from the famous 'The Ramayana', indicating how important a promise is once we made it. And no matter how much you have to pay for it. Once you had made a promise, you have to fulfill it at any cost even at the cost of your life. This lesson gives a fine example of the thinking of our Indians.

Reason 6: FOOD AND LANGUAGES :

Everyone is very much aware of the fact, how much foody Indians are. Food is the basic necessity of mankind but for Indians, along with necessity food had occupied a great significance in lifestyle as well. From Jammu and Kashmir to Kanyakumari, food plays a very important role in uniting the whole of India. This thing can be well explained by the love of a south Indian for north Indian cuisines and vice versa.

Similarly, in a secular country like India, different languages represent the different localities and different emotions. India is the only country having more than 400 actively spoken languages. Though differences in regional languages, we Indians are united by our mother tongue language i.e Hindi. India has in fact no national language but there are 22 languages that had given official status. Is there any other country with such diversification?

Reason 7: BOLLYWOOD AND INDIAN FILM INDUSTRY :

Talking about India without a mention of the Indian film industry and Bollywood movies would be quite unfair. Everyone who is interested in movies, songs, films, etc must aware of Bollywood, the Indian film industry. Bollywood doesn't need any introduction because of a number of huge achievements and a number of its best film productions across the whole world.
Bollywood had given us a number of legendary actors, who changed the whole era of cinema, and that's the reason, Indian cinema is the largest and world's best cinema.

Reason 8: INDIAN ARMED FORCES - PRIDE OF INDIA!

The whole of India is just nothing if we don't mention about Indian Armed Forces. Indian Armed Forces represent the military forces of our country, consisting of three units namely the Indian Army, Indian Airforce, and Indian Naval Forces/Indian Navy.
Indian armed forces consist of more than 1.4 million active army personnel, which makes it the world's 2nd largest military force in the world. Indian military force lies at the 4th most powerful military position in the whole world.
Working day and night wholeheartedly for the nation, this makes Indian Armed Forces a pride of India.

MY OPINION :

India has a lot to be praised for and a number of things are there, which needed to be improved and various things are needed to be implemented as well, not denying the fact but We can work in a united way in order to take our country and our culture forward. We all Indians can work together, supporting each other in order to take our country towards development, peace, and prosperity. We have to work together to preserve our rich heritage and promote our culture so that the whole world comes to know how beautiful and wonderful, our country India is.

How to score well in board exams?

 Exams: a word that terrifies most of us. This word has its own significance in the life of a student especially an Indian student. A student studies for the whole year to pass the exams and then get promoted to the next class/session. In typical Indian families, marks are very much important. Dreams of many middle-class children are completely associated with the exam results.

I belong to the same typical middle-class Indian family. I was also offered my favorite items like a bicycle, bike, my favorite sneakers, etc at the price of marks. I had scored 96 percent in my 12th standard boards and around 94 percent in my 10th standard boards. So I'm gonna share some of the tips that I used to achieve this.

The very first thing you keep in mind is scoring more than 90% is not a difficult job. It's quite an easy job but requires a little effort. This whole thing acts as a push towards our goal.

Then you have to divide your whole syllabus into small portions and make a timetable giving equal time to all subjects. Try to be strict with the time table.

Before 3 months of the board exams, your whole syllabus should be completed once. Once, the syllabus is completed then the only thing that can help you to score more is the times of revisions. Revisions are something that basically acts as fuel to boost you up. For the whole year, what you have studied doesn't matter if you hadn't revised it for at least 7 to 8 times. The more you will revise, the more you will move towards your target marks.

Most of the people usually focus on covering more and more syllabus and more extra topics and don't go for revisions which may or may not bring results but more and more revisions will definitely bring results. The most important thing you need to understand is the retention by your brain. The more your brain retains, the more your chances of scoring target marks are. So to retain everything you have learned for the whole year, you need to revise more and more. The more the number of revisions, the more the probability of getting above 90%.

The last and the main thing you need to put in your mind is that in the last months don't go for reading more and more topics that aren't in your syllabus. Sometimes this thing leads to a number of confusion and the whole syllabus ruins away. Keep yourself strict to the topics and focus on the topics given in the syllabus only, in order to crack the goal.

Along with all these things you also have to read the past year's question papers. Our education system is designed in such a way that there are huge chances of the repetition of the questions. So revising the old previous year question papers will give you large benefits. Solving previous year question papers also built internal confidence inside you that is very important. This confidence during exam time is very important.

Now as we're prepared for the exams. We also need to understand one more thing i.e the way of writing and presenting our answers in the answer sheet. This thing may or may not work in all cases because not all the examiners focus on the presentation but I'd experienced that presentation also matters up to some extent to attain more marks. So try to present your answers in a good way making a good presentation.

Hope this would somehow help you to score good marks. Wishing you good luck!

 4   THE RUDEST BOOK EVER BY SHWETABH GANGWAR

As the name suggests, this is the most rudest book, I ever came across. The book title reads "Insanely practical ideas to free your mind from all bullshit", which sums up the whole book. In this book, the author had tried to explain the really effective principles to get rid of negativity and focus on yourself in order to develop a winning mindset.

This book teaches you how to deal with the rejections and how to use data in order to conclude something. This book teaches us ‘how to think’, instead of ‘what to think’.  This book completely changes your perceptions so you don’t end up screwed.

I personally learnt a lot and my whole perspective of thinking got changed after reading this book by Shwetabh. So, I highly recommend you to go through this at least once.
