THE FIRST STEP - INITIATION

 Bro, I love writing but I can't. There are already thousands of writers out there, who already write so well. How the hell I'm gonna survive in such a dominant market.

Bro, I love acting but the industry is already dominated by others. I'm not gonna survive into it.

Aren't these some of the statements, we often come across. A number of people wanted to do something but end up doing nothing because of the fear of failure, fear of being judged, criticism, rejections, etc. Now, being trapped in all these situations isn't something new. It had been introduced into our lives since childhood, knowingly or maybe unknowingly, and out of nowhere, a seed of fears got sown into our consciousness.

Picture of Perfection:

Whenever you initiate anything, the very first thing you need to keep in mind is, "Just go for the shot". You need not picturise yourself as a Perfectionist. You need not anticipate being a master of that subject. Initiation is difficult but with time, experience speaks and your efforts and hard work would be appreciated.

Start Immediately:

Many of us just procrastinate and hence keep on delaying the stuff, which is the most ridiculous thing. If you're devoted to anything and want to do something, you need to end your procrastination. You need to take immediate action. If you ever think it's not the time, trust me, you're on the wrong path.

You thought of something, just take the action. Your immediate actions determine your chances of success.

Patience is Powerful:

Whenever we start something from zero, there are two probabilities; either it'd be an achievement or it'd be a failure. These are the results already resides in our mind. But don't you think you either achieve or learn. Failure teaches you a lot and failure is something that determines the probability of your success. Well, it's not failure, it's your patience and not giving up attitude after your failure, that determines your success in the field.

With patience, you remain in the situation of handling failures. Patience is a powerful weapon and you need to act patiently.

No shortcut:

"There is no shortcut to success", goes on a quite strong statement. Hard work and Hustle form the key. Destiny may or may not be a factor but if you ever think of shortcuts, then it's the most drastic shit you are feeding yourself. Shortcuts are never meant for long-term success. In order to succeed early and to let things happen in your favor, it's quite obvious, you'll do whatever the hell it demands, and hence going behind the shortcuts isn't anything out of the box.

Message

Now, the most difficult and the most important part of any stuff is its initiation and consistency to carry it forward. You need to learn and understand the same and hence act accordingly.

 If you want to write, take a damn paper and pen and start writing the hell of it.

 Take a video camera and go on filming the stuff till you end up making a damn masterpiece.

Now, to achieve everything, you need to initiate. Take your first step boldly and confidentially and see how destiny works.

Good Luck.

Peace!!

Victory and Defeat - Part of life.

 Suppose you take part in some competition. What's the very first thing that comes to your mind? I'm assured that the thing would definitely be the prize or the winner or the view after you win the competition. You just can't deny this fact to act smart that you don't care about winning or some other shit because we all know the human mentality and the way we act in any situation. So, we both know, the only thing that hits our mind is the winning situation.

Now, it's not your fault that you focus on the victory only. You work to taste the victory. You are raised the way like life is a race and you have to win the race at any cost. No matter, what cost you have to pay for the victory but you have to be a winner always. On one side, we can't consider this whole mentality as foolishness but we also can't deny that always getting the first rank in the race doesn't mean you are the winner especially when it's about life. Life is not something that demands and favors the winners only. You can be a loser and still enjoy life better than the winner. And that's the main characteristic i.e your perception of accepting reality. You have to realize that happiness is not something that only relies on your victories but it can be achieved even after a defeat as well.

The important lesson that we can learn here is to accept victory as well as defeat peacefully without any kind of regret. If you are a winner that doesn't mean you gonna win always. This is the law of nature that you get everything equally. If you are facing defeat always that doesn't mean you'll face defeat in the future as well and vice versa. So, try to consider both the victory as well as the defeat as a part of the journey.

I very well understand the emotions and the way one feels when he hits the defeat and the failure. Defeat usually shook the person fully or partially and ultimately leaves a scar mark. This scar mark now can act either as a supporter and reminder of the defeat, making you more serious and help you hustle more for the future, or this scar mark can produce a wave of rage and anger as well. Both choices are in your own hand and you can choose wisely.

LEARNINGS FROM CHILDHOOD;

Now, you can't deny the fact that you are told by your parents, elders, etc since your childhood that you have to win only. Nobody ever told you that defeat is also a part of life. Noone helps you realizing how defeat plays a crucial role in understanding the point of failure, the true meaning of success, the lessons to learn from defeat, etc. As a result, your mind never focussed on the defeat and has no idea how failure tastes like. Hence, when you hit failure for the first time, you get broken. It becomes difficult for you to handle failures and you perceive your defeat as pain and sorrow.

WINNINGS AND FEARS;

If someone is getting everything he wanted in his first go, then he had no experience of loss and failures, but this is life, my friend. At some point in life, you will be hitting failure and that would be the time you will realize the whole perspective of failure.

A series of winning, one way or the other affects your mentality and you start playing a safe game. You start getting afraid of trying something new and risky, which ultimately stops your growth in life. In short, your fears and pessimism start increasing proportionately as your winnings increase.

SHORT TIME PLEASURE;

People don't understand that victory and defeat, both are part of life. You can feel pleasure after victory, which is good but this pleasure is for short time. Noone will be remembering your victory even after the event. You have to work for long term satisfaction and for long term satisfaction, you need to make a balance between winning and losing. You have to start taking your defeats in the same way you treat your victory and see the magic of life.

Conclusion:

Life is A beautiful experience, a wonderful journey, and an awesome event. God has blessed man with this amazing phase to enjoy, hustle, learn, help, and live peacefully. You need to accept that if life is cruel at some phase, then it is compassionate at another equally. So you have to learn how to take it in a progressive and constructive way without being demotivated and hopeless. Both win and lose are important for the development of humans, so start accepting both as a part of your life.

Keep Growing!

Experience with books!

After surviving the pandemic of 2020, we are finally in the year 2021and sharing my personal experience with books is important because it's because of books I was able to defeat boredom during the lockdown. I'm sharing my own experience related to book reading and its importance in real life. Now without any further delay, let's jump into it.
Two years ago, I took a new year resolution of improving my reading habit and I decided to end the year 2019 by reading at least 5 books. I know 5 books are such a small number but believe me for a non-reader person like me, it was a difficult job. I still remember how difficult it was for me to stick to the reading process for just 5-6 pages. I was so bad at book reading that I hardly read more than 4pages in one sitting. Though I loved listening to the Audiobooks I also wanted to improve my reading skills, so I decided to improve it, without caring for the steps i.e smaller or larger, I started with 1page and then 2, 4, and so on. It took me 2-3 months to complete my first book. Btw the first book I ever read completely was "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. In the year 2019, I finally succeeded in completing 3 books. Trust me, 3 books were a good number for any nonreader person. On the other hand, I had listened to more than 8 audiobooks as well. This difference clearly shows my lacking performance with respect to reading.

Similarly in the year 2020, I promised myself to stick to that reading habit for the whole year, and finally, in the year 2020, I read 7-8 books and listened to more than 12 audiobooks. A special thanks to the lockdown here.
With all these efforts, I realized how valuable and important reading books is. Books are more than just a piece of printed paper. I was fond of audiobooks and they are good as well but the satisfaction that I got by reading the book myself was unexplainable.
I love reading books for self-improvement, life learning, financial freedom, etc. And the kind of fun and pleasure I found after reading these books myself, I wasn't getting the same by audiobooks. Now, book reading is one of my regular activities. I use to read at least 4-6 pages daily, sometimes I even read more than 4-5 chapters, and this had become a very important part of my daily schedule.

Reading and Vocabulary;
The best way to improve your grammar and vocabulary is by reading. The more you'll read, the better you'll be in your vocabulary. Both of these things are not only associated with English literature but any subject, language, etc. No doubt you can learn these from movies, drama series, podcasts, etc, but according to researches, the best source is a book always. Even I believe the same, so, I suggest book reading as a priority.

Knowledge;
Books are the source of knowledge. So, there is no loss in reading books. Your knowledge gonna increase only after reading books, so, start reading. From being a left out person in a conversation to a person who literally has knowledge about numerous things is truly a real feeling of satisfaction and the way, how it improves your self-confidence, you can't even imagine the same.

Self-esteem and Self-development
Both self-esteem and self-development form the major components in order to shaping your life and live peacefully. You realize your very own importance by these and books form the utmost important source to raise these characters inside you.

Priorities first
By reading books about successful people, you'd be able to encounter a vision of differentiating your priorities and acting accordingly. Once you understand your priorities, your life would become quite sorted.

Feeding self Respect
There's a difference between self-respect and an egoistic attitude and you need to understand it well and the best way to learn this skill is by reading books on self-development. Different authors, psychologists, and other successful people share their experiences over the years. It takes years and years to learn something on its own but if you're getting the same written in a book, why not grasp it efficiently instead of wasting time?

Life and Realisations || KASHISH GUPTA

Life is just like a school and our mistakes are the teachers. Mistakes play a very important role in order to shape our lives. With time, each one of us gets exposed to numerous problems that require our perception in order to create solutions and the way we react to these problems paves the way for our achievements. Cursing problems and throwing the blame of problems over others never gonna work. How often you throw blame over others?

With time, we realise the different lessons that life teaches us. We compete hustle, perform, and if life allows, we finally succeed. In every aspect of life, we learn something new. These simple life lessons can help us improve further. Some basic life lessons and realisations can be as;

The Responsibility of our actions;

The very basic realisation in life is the credit of our responsibilities. Let me make it a little clear. We all take different actions and our results are based on it. If you are doing the job with dedication and hard work, then you gonna shine in your job. If not then nothing gonna happen. You won't be paid for shit. Then after rejection and failure, instead of blaming destiny and finding the shitty reasons, start taking responsibility for your actions. If you are taking credits for your victories then also accept the failures as well.

Humble nature and Righteousness;
You can estimate the importance of humbleness and righteousness by the following quote of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam;

Where there is righteousness in the heartthere is beauty in the character. When there is beauty in the character, there is harmony in the home. When there is harmony in the home, there is order in the nation. When there is order in the nation, there is peace in the world.” – A.P.J.

Each and every word in this quote has great significance. Your morals and ethics will decide how you will flourish in your life.

Knowledge and Money;
 We all humans are just a collection of perspectives and different people have different perspectives. We all have different approaches and different patterns of observing and reacting to any situation or circumstance. Hence, some have a strong belief in power and money, and some accept knowledge over everything.

I personally believe knowledge is the main entity that is not just important, but a necessity. You can attain money with knowledge but can't attain knowledge with money. With time, everyone realizes the value of knowledge and the power of knowledge over money.

Philanthropy and Donations;
After becoming rich and powerful, people usually recognise that wealth is just materialistic and is not that significant.

 Mind you, this non-significance doesn't mean you don't earn and don't work for money. It simply means work for satisfaction. If you have an excess of anything, you should be sharing it with the needy and the ones lacking it as well. This sharing gives you internal satisfaction, that worth more than a billion dollars. This can be concluded from the life of "Chuck Feeney", who has donated more than 8 billion US dollars.

“I cannot think of a more personally rewarding and appropriate use of wealth than to give while one is living - to personally devote oneself to meaningful efforts to improve the human condition. More importantly, today's needs are so great and varied that intelligent philanthropic support and positive interventions can have greater value and impact today than if they are delayed when the needs are greater.”
-Chuck Feeney.
 Several other billionaires like Ratan Tata, Azim Premji, Warren Buffett, Bill gates, etc are donating enormous amounts of wealth and are setting great examples of philanthropy. Now, this might give you the idea, how satisfactory philanthropy is!

Family above everything;

Sometimes while running behind money and other materialistic items, we forget completely about family and other relationships. We regret it when we lose it. So, why don't we value our relations with family? The bond between parents and children is something that can never be compared or exchanged with money. Family is something that is with us when we have nothing and remain even when we have everything. Hence, family over everything.

Value of Time;
Valuing time is the key to success and we usually realize the value of time once it passes.
 'Time and Tide wait for nothing' - This famous proverb is so powerful, those who took this seriously understand life easily and effectively and those who don't keep on suffering.
You can be a millionaire, billionaire, or anything, you can purchase anything but the only thing you can't get back is the time. Utilize your time wisely and constructively so in the future you don't regret your past.

Dreams vs Reality.

We all work to attain stability in our life. We want to earn well, live well, and spend well. We all wanted a great lifestyle and a full package of fortune. From childhood, we dreamt of having a multi-millionaire or a billionaire lifestyle. We dream of becoming a personality, we got inspired from. Some wish to be a businessman like Mukesh Ambani and some chose to be an entrepreneur like Elon Musk, some dreamt of becoming brilliant minds like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and some wanted to be a great politician like Narendra Modi. These days most of the youth are inspired by movie stars and everyone dream of touching success like Shahrukh Khan but not all end up becoming a star like him. Everyone dreams of Perfection, but even after dreaming, only a few used to reach those heights and most just end up remaining at the same place i.e without fulfillment of their dreams. Can you guess, why?
Well, dreaming of something is a choice. You can dream of anything. The size and the uniqueness of your dreams don't matter but the thing that matters is the reality i.e the efforts and the hard work you put in order to turn your dreams into reality. You are generally criticized by the others for your big dreams by passing on statements like these are too big to achieve, it's not in your hands to make your dreams come true, dream after looking your pockets, etc. but we usually ignore these statements and for us, these statements don't make any sense. Now, let's flip the coin. No doubt, you dreamt of something but what, when that dream doesn't get fulfilled?
What if you're unable to fulfill the dream of becoming a superstar celebrity and instead you became a teacher or some government employee. Does this mean you give up your dream and stop dreaming anymore?

Now the basic thing we need to understand is the reality. Reality is something that you need to face either you wanted or not. You just can't escape from the reality. So, the thing is you need to dream without ignoring reality. You have to work on your dreams but considering the reality of life as well.

If you have a family to feed and you have a dream of becoming an actor, then you need to realize that feeding the family is the priority and then is the turn for your passion and dreams. You have to accept this reality and need to act likewise. You had to make a regular source of income first and then you have to work for your dream. You can work simultaneously as well but giving your full time to your dream, that isn't even paying you off without caring for the family and ignoring the reality is nothing but absurdity.
This is the simple thing you need to know, Work for your dreams consistently but without ignoring reality.

Middle-Class Person and dreams;
For a middle-class man, a dream is just like a chapter that a student always found difficult and never even tried to learn. In reality, the chapter isn't that difficult. The only thing is to sort out the way to learn the chapter maybe by practicing more or by spending more time than usual. In the same way, a middle-class man can also work on his dreams without disturbing his other schedule. If you have dedication and seriousness for your dream then no obstacle can act as a barrier in your path.

Bucket of Money;
Everyone knows that the basic obstacle in the path of dreams is the deficiency or the lack of money. Not all have the dream that requires a zero buck investment. Some dreamt of becoming a professional photographer. He may have a spirit to hustle for his dream as well but what about the capital required to purchase the necessary equipment and the instruments. Now keeping this whole thing in mind, one can either consider this situation as a curse and give up his dream and then will be living in regret his whole life, which literally represents failure, or one can choose to search for some job, etc for the source of income and then by saving or by any sort of investments can purchase his photographic instruments and hence can work on his dreams/passion. The second case represents the real example of side-hustle and it's quite important to understand the whole concept of side hustle because, without side hustle, it becomes difficult to fulfill your dreams. The choice is yours how you want to act, by giving up your dreams or by hustling hard in a smart way, living your life without any regret.

Reality and Realisations;
The whole point of writing this blog is to produce a wave of optimism in you, without ignoring the reality. You need to understand that majority of times, you are stuck in such situations, where you either ignore the reality and facts of your life or you ignore your dream life and your passion. You really don't need to ignore any of the two, you can work at the same time, for both the things. You only need to sort out the way how you can work on both. You yourself can sort this problem because no one else would come to help you over. So, start taking actions by holding your responsibilities and working for your dreams but without ignoring the reality.

Best Books for self development.

 Books are the best teacher, one ever got. Books are the ocean of knowledge. One can learn a lot from books. From school to college to the other different aspects of life, books play a very important role. So it's very important to choose the right books.

Books in the real sense are the best form of investment for the development of our brain. Books play a very crucial role in the development of one's life and also plays a role in shaping the different aspects of life. That's why it is wisely said, ''Your mind is something you read, something you learn and something you retain''. And books are the best option that fits correctly in all the categories of this proverb. So, as a book lover, I'm gonna share some of my favorite books that everyone ( especially people in their 20's ) should read.

12 RULES FOR LIFE by JORDAN B. PETERSON

This book is written by clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson. In this book, the author has explained about the 12 rules that basically are very important in shaping the life of a person. In short, the writer had tried to explain the rules that can reduce unnecessary human suffering, will help the person(humans) to live a better and a peaceful life.

The 12 rules explained by the author ranges from fixing of posture to sticking with the best people around you, from inspiring you to be a good listener to teaching you to solve problems with precision.

I had learned a lot from this book and I think everyone should at least read it once.

12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos

 2   RICH DAD POOR DAD by ROBERT KIYOSAKI

Everyone in their twenties is not that mature to realize the value of money and financial freedom. So here is the book to make you realize how important financial freedom and financial literacy is. The book Rich Dad Poor Dad, written by Mr. Kiyosaki is about financial literacy, which includes financial education and financial independence.

In short, in this book, the author had tried to explain the difference between working for money and making your money work for you. This book gives a simple explanation of the working principles of money and teaches you how to use your money in the right way in order to become rich.

If you want to read any book related to financial freedom and financial intelligence, you must give this book a read.

3   IKIGAI : THE JAPANESE SECRET TO A LONG AND HAPPY LIFE by HECTOR GRACIA and FRANCESC MIRALLES

Ikigai is a Japanese word meaning,  "a reason for being". Ikigai basically represents a sense of purpose in life. According to the author, everyone has an Ikigai hidden deep inside and we have to discover our Ikigai, which requires a patient search. According to the author, Ikigai is the reason we get up in the morning and by discovering our Ikigai, we can find the meaning of our life.

In short, this book deals with the finding of passion, which is very important for self-development so, If you are unaware of your passion and want to discover it and also want to find the meaning of your life, you must read IKIGAI once.

Ikigai: The Japanese secret to a long and happy life

 4   THE RUDEST BOOK EVER BY SHWETABH GANGWAR

As the name suggests, this is the most rudest book, I ever came across. The book title reads "Insanely practical ideas to free your mind from all bullshit", which sums up the whole book. In this book, the author had tried to explain the really effective principles to get rid of negativity and focus on yourself in order to develop a winning mindset.

This book teaches you how to deal with the rejections and how to use data in order to conclude something. This book teaches us ‘how to think’, instead of ‘what to think’.  This book completely changes your perceptions so you don’t end up screwed.

I personally learnt a lot and my whole perspective of thinking got changed after reading this book by Shwetabh. So, I highly recommend you to go through this at least once.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF CHESS || SOMETHING I LEARNT FROM THE GAME OF CHESS || KASHISH GUPTA
